BBWWUK20 – A Heartfelt Thank You From The Black Babywearing Week UK Team

Following the success of our 2nd Black Baby Wearing Week UK, our small team wanted to express a Heartfelt Thank You to every single one of our readers and followers who, liked, shared and engaged with us over the course of 15th-21st June 2020… 

This year’s theme was togetherness, and in midst of a global pandemic whilst witnessing the drive for race equality as the Black Lives Matter movement gained worldwide momentum following the unlawful death of George Floyd, the theme chosen was even more poignant.

We were able to bring together members of the Black community to share their babywearing experiences and promote the benefits of baby wearing like never before.

It our most successful year out of the two we have have run, with the number of interactions on our social media at its highest ever in terms of engagement.

Fun Statistics

Throughout the Week our social media content on Instagram alone reached over 11,000 people.

The ‘like and repost’ giveaway to win fabulous prizes kindly donated by the following brands reached over 478 people.
