B-Sensible Review: Eco-Conscious Bedding

As you may be aware I am a green living enthusiast who is constantly on the look out for new Eco friendly products to try. Having successfully swapped all beauty, cosmetic and household products one area I have yet to change is the interiors within my home.

So when the opportunity arose to try B-Sensible Eco Conscious Bedding I jumped at the chance.

Before I share my honest thoughts and opinions with you, here is a little background of B-Sensible should you not be familiar with this eco conscious bedding company

B-Sensible Background

B-Sensible is one of Europe’s leading retailers in bedding. The Company’s mission is to ensure that families have a better night’s sleep, after all sleep is crucial for us to function properly.

B-Sensible Products

B-Sensible produce unique, breathable and waterproof bedding for adults, children and babies.

With products starting from a purse friendly amount of just £16, B-Sensible ranges from fitted sheets in all sizes to durable pillow protectors.

What are B-Sensible Products Made From?

Made from Tencel originating from eucalyptus and beech trees, their sheets are the first 2 in 1 fitted protector that acts like a second skin.

What’s more impressive is that you won’t need to use another mattress protector alongside it as it is designed to be both a fitted sheet and protector.

On B-Sensible Products We Reviewed

As part of the review process, I was lucky to have control over what products I wanted to try as well as selecting which colourways to be sent.

We currently bedshare with our children in our Kingsize bed so chose a Kingsize Fitted Sheet and Pillowcases in Aqua.

Baby Fleur’s cot is side carried against our bed and is used at present as a place she can safely play if I need to use the bathroom or attend to household chores in a different room.

We plan to start transitioning her into her cot for daytime naps so decided to try the fitted cot sheet in aqua too in the hope she does not notice the difference between being in her cot and our bed.

Thoughts on B-Sensible Kingsize Fitted Sheets

One of the noticeable differences when laying on a B-sensible fitted sheet is the way it controls one’s body heat. It is honestly as soft as silk and as cool as linen.

With 4 in a bed in record breaking temperatures throughout Summer last year we usually would wake up to patches of sweat on our sheets but did not notice this at all when using B-Sensible!

We were kept cool and love that the sheets are made to be odor and allergen free. Dustmites are prevented from penetranting the fitted sheets and pillows.

Aside from being super soft, B-Sensible’s waterproof claims were firmly put to the test when my toilet training Son decided to wee on the bed instead of asking for the toilet.

I was impressed to learn that it did not leak through onto our mattress. I was able to successfully remove the sheet in a way that it remained in a small pool without it running onto other parts of the sheet.

B-Sensible Baby Cot Sheet

In baby’s Fleur’s case, she was prone to projectile vomiting when she was much younger.

I honestly lost count of the many times both my other half and I wiped our fitted sheets clean following an episode of vomiting straight after she had nursed with the added reassurance the mattress would be protected.

Final Thoughts

Our household are B-Sensible converts and are considering getting a few more in different colourways.

With 100% natural surface, its sheets absorbs 50% faster than cotton and dry 14 times faster. Impressive wouldn’t you agree?

It’s thermo-regulating properties means one is kept nice and cool during hot summer months and warm during current colder climates.

If you are currently in the market for Eco conscious bedding , B-Sensible bedding could be what you are looking for.
