Healthy Swaps Series: Substitute Soft Drinks and Squash For Pack’d Co – Frozen Health Kits That Make Nutrient Rich Smoothies

Gone are the days of preparing fresh fruit and vegetables to juice daily. Time is simply not on my side as a Mother to a small child who will be 14 months old next week please god. ‘Convenience‘ dare I say, is now my prefered option and LOVE that I can still whizz up nutrient rich smoothies for my little family in no time at all thanks to Pack’d Co frozen pouches!

What Is Pack’d Co?

For those not already familiar, Pack’d Co pouches are mixture of frozen fruit and vegetable portions, conveniently packaged into small pouches with the addition of a superfood pouch for added goodness.

Simply whizz in the blender with either plain/coconut water, fruit juice, cows milk or a dairy free milk alternative of your choice and volia, you have yourself a wonderfully tasting juice full of nutrients and antioxidants.

Pack’d Co pouches come in 3 different Health Kits… Detox, Energy and Defence. They sold in a variety of health shops and major supermarket chains including Wholefoods, Planet Organic, Ocado and Tescos.

How We Enjoy Ours

In addition to the Detox pouch (minus the superfood powder) I simply added a few slices of Mango and Cucumber, 4 tablespoons of Full Fat Greek Yoghurt and approx 200ml coconut water to make these wonderfully thick and tasty vibrant green smoothies.

My little Eco drank his sooo fast he became hysterical when it was gone so had some of mine too (the biggest glass!).

Vegetable based Juices and Smoothies have been a part of Eco’s diet since the beginning of his weaning journey and LOVE that he loves them just as much as Daddy and I!
