15 Month Update With A Twist

Good Morning Beautiful People, Happy Tuesday! Sunday just gone saw my beautiful Prince turn 15 months old and thought I’d mark the occasion by sharing one of my favourite portraits of him when he was half the age at 7.5 months whilst sharing a progress update with a twist!

I always seem to get a little reflective with each month that Eco gets older, and so I penned a little poem for my Son that captures his progress and development thus far…

“My Little Eco you have taught me how to love so deep it hurts!

You have taught me how to effortlessly put your needs and happiness first.

You continue to be my teacher with every day that passes by.

I have learnt so much and gained new skills with you right by my side.

I am learning the art of patience, for you are my motivation.

To be the best Mother I can be to you whilst managing my expectations.

You are growing oh so beautifully, so confident and bright!

The skills you aquire daily has me beaming with delight.

You now eat with a fork or spoon and takes sips from a cup.

But you are still so young and vulnerable even though you act grownup.

You’ve also mastered how to catch, kick and throw a football.

You have come so far in just 8 months when you first learnt how to crawl.

We are only 15 months into this lifelong journey as Mother and Son.

But rest assured my four toothed brown eyed boy the fun has just begun”.
