After months of endless searching for a hair salon located in London that uses either natural, organic or plant based products I am ECSTATIC to have stumbled across the highly proclaimed Gina Conway Aveda Salons and Spas after reading a FAB review from my blogger friend Emma who writes over at Emsy Pickle. Gina Conway Aveda Salon and Spa uses ethical plant-based botanical products and just HAD to share more information with you all on their newest launch… The Bespoke ‘Spa Haircut’ that I myself cannot wait to try!
The Lowdown On A ‘Spa Haircut’
Created for busy clients who are looking for a little extra pampering with their cut, the service complements the relaxing, holistic ambiance cultivated through touches such as the aromatherapy candles scenting the salons, chakra sprays, Aveda teas and more!
With every haircut purchase, customers have the opportunity to experience and indulge in a 15-minute mini spa treatment(s) that is completed at the backwash as an add on treatment. There are a total of 7 extremely tempting mini treatments to choose from, including:
Glow – A plant-based exfoliating facial
Refine – A botanical alternative to a microdemabrasion facial
Restore – A restoring experience for the eyes
Shine – A deep penetrating hair therapy treatment to increase shine and strength
Relieve – A back, shoulder and head massage to inspire complete wellness and bliss.
Relax – An Indian head massage to relieve stress and anxiety
Shine and Glow – A combination of the two treatments
Cost of a ‘Spa Haircut’
A Spa Haircut is priced at £15.00 in addition to ones haircut price, which start from £37.00 depending on the level of the stylist you opt for.
The salon also offers a complementary ‘Gina Conway Ritual’ with every cut and Bliss Rewards points, which soon add up to anything from free treatments to a stay at a London hotel! Every member of the multi award-winning team has been handpicked by Gina and fully trained at the Advanced Academy to offer a completely bespoke appointment. The team specializes in cuts that personalize the shape to the client’s natural hair texture, so when it’s styled at home it’s easy to maintain every day.
Gina Conway’s four London AVEDA Salons and Spas promise an indulgent service from the minute you walk in, and count Maggie Gyllenhall, Sienna Miller, Paloma Faith, Lulu Guinness, Julianne White and celeb stylist Arianne Phillips among their clientele.
I am quite excited to be reviewing the Spa Haircut service over the next week or two and look forward to sharing my thoughts and experiences with you all. Confession – I am slightly nervous as I know a fair few inches will be cut due to brittle, dry and damaged split ends that seem to be travelling up my hair having not visited a trusted hair salon in over three years *hides face*
I am also seriously eyeing up their hair colouring services. It’s been at least four years since I have applied colour to my hair and with the chemical ridden hair dye now grown out, it brings me great joy to learn Aveda’s colouring products are 97% naturally derived permanent colour and 99% semi permanent colour! The only problem is weather to opt for highlights or full colour *decisions decisions*
Should you be curious to find out more about the Spa Haircut and are after a tried and tested encounter of the experience from a reputable source / person, I recommend having a read of Emsy Pickle’s experience whilst you’re waiting for my overview to be published, as after all, it is Emma’s review and experience that had me completely SOLD!
Have you visited Gina Conway Aveda Hair Salon and Spa before? I would love to know you thoughts if you have by leaving me a comment 🙂
