A few weeks ago, whilst searching the web for Natural, Organic and Green Beauty Products, one of the brands that immediately caught my eye was Heaven – an Organic Skincare range that is known for using Bee Venom as part of their ingredients. Now I have come across natural products that incorporates bee’s honey, but never the actual venom from the bee sting so was extremely intrigued and curious to know how something that can be classed as poisonous be good for the skin…
After speaking with the lovely Heaven Skincare team via Twitter about their products and the strange choice to use Bee Venom as part of their ingredients, the team kindly agreed to send me a few products from their range to try.
The products I was sent were:
- Skin Polish Exfoliator 25 ml
- Ellajane Celebrity Organic Face Wipes (pack of 30)
- Bee Venom Mask 15 ml
For the purpose of this article I shall be first sharing my thoughts and views on the Ellajane Celebrity Organic Face Wipes.
I have tried many skin wipes over the years with mixed results.
Some were too thin and ripped easily, others dried out too fast and some were just too sticky!
On using these Ella Jane skin wipes by Heaven the first thing you notice is the lovely aroma coming from the pack, a hint of peppermint.
The second thing which stands out is the feel of these wipes. They are very thick, probably the thickest I have used, this gives them a sturdiness which in turn gives you the confidence to use them.
When I had finished using it there was surprisingly a lot of moisture still left in the cotton, my face and hands also dried quite quickly which is another plus for me.
The only thing wrong with this wipe is you end up torn between throwing a used one away because you feel they may have plenty more use.
You could probably share a wipe with a friend or loved one if that really bothered you, not a bad thing at all (I shared a wipe with the Mr to clean our hands).
The use of peppermint together with the honey ingredients and apple pectin left my hands and face feeling extremely refreshed and really clean!
Aqua Cotton*, Polyglyceryl-4 caprate, Pyrus malus juice, Benzyl alcohol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Betaine, Camellia sinensis leaf extract*, Potassium sorbate, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder*, Dehydroacetic acid, Benzoic acid, Sorbic acid, Mel*, Mentha piperita oil*, Citric acid, Ascorbic acid, Sodium Citrate.
As taken from the Heaven Skincare website their formula to make these organic cotton wipes consists of:
“Organic apple and honey based formula that cleanses, tones and moisturises. The ingredients used are 95% organic and are approved by the Soil Association“
The Ellajane Celebrity Organic Face wipes are sold in a pack of 30 and can be brought direct from the Heaven Skincare website and at the retail price of £7.30, I feel these wipes are more than worth it when it comes to investing in.

Have you used Heaven Skincare before? If so, what are your favourite products from their range?
I am intrigued to know, especially that I am at the very beginning of my natural skincare journey.
